Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actress most commonly known for her portrayal of Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk, a scholar and Peter Silk who was a well-known actor, director as well as a playwright, producer, educator, and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching while at work, and also attending play rehearsals. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials when she was in the midst of her childhood. She was in 1997 when she graduated with an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. The early stage work she did included at least two plays with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move to Toronto to pursue her acting profession in November 1999.
