Katarina was born in Staaken on the 3rd December 1965. In her search for new challenges Witt is continuing to grow and learn new skills in the world of figure skating as in addition to producing, presenting acting and writing. Katarina Witt will end her amateur career at the World Championships in 1988. In the next three years she will be co-headlining her professional debut in Canada and the USA along with World Champion Brian Boitano. This is the first time in ten years ago, Madison Square Garden shows a skating show featuring figure skaters, titled "Witt and Boitano Skating". The show became so well-known that it sold out Madison Square Garden for a complete performance. The Olympic Games held in Lillehammer 1994 marked her 3rd time as an Olympic athlete. In 1994, she tours through the US as well as Canada as star guest of the ice skating show "Stars on Ice" and "Champions On Ice" for a decade and she also competes in a variety of international professional competitions. She conceptualizes, creates headlines for and creates many world-class ice shows through her own company, WITHWITT. It is the leader in the skating production field, producing shows such as "Divas of Ice", "Katarina & Friends", Enjoy Stars and Winter Magic", for US television and German TV.
